Steamed rice with bamboo shoots

"Takenoko-gohan" Bamboo shoots is food necessary for Japanese spring season. When we could get a fresh one, we boil it as soon as we get to home then keep it in boiled water in refrigerator. We cook in many ways such as fry and with steamed rice. Takenoko-gohan (Steamed rice with bamboo shoots) is the most popular dish that you can feel spring from and easy to make. - Ingredients 4 serving 2.5 cups of uncooked rice 1/2 of boiled bamboo shoots Dashi ★3 Tablespoon of Sake
★1 Tablespoon of Mirin
★2 Tablespoon of light soy sauce
★1/2 Teaspoon of salt -Instructions 1. Cut bamboo into thin slice. 2. Put uncooked rice in to rice cooker bowl. Add all ★, then add dashi in to same bowl up to the line mark “2.5”. 3. Add sliced bamboo on top at the end. 4. Set bowl in to rice cooker then press a bottom “start” as same as you cook white rice.
