Japanese Vegetable in Paris

 

It is a well-known fact that Kei Kojima, executive chef at Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo, he discipline as a chef at many place in Nice.
But did you know there is Japanese Farmer works on a farm and makes Japanese Vegetable at place call “Chapet” 20 minutes from Paris?
His name is Yamashita san, I had chance to get to know about him from through farmer at Kamakura Farmer’s Market.


He makes a white radish, a turnip, spinach, edible burdocks etc. that all well known as Japanese vegetable that no agricultural chemicals are used in their production.
This farm’s Vegetable well known as freshness, the quality that every Japanese chefs and not just Japanese chefs in Paris know about Yamashita san.


I had no chance beet to Yamashita Farm so if you live or have chance to visit Paris, Please tell us a story of your visit!  I love to hear it!
