Sukiyaki

 

Sukiyaki is the original Japanese food that meat dish which has good balance of sugar and soy bitter-sweet sauce.  

 

Sukiyaki recipe differs from east Kanto side to west Kansai side.

I like the recipe from Kanto eastern style which all ingredients stew together in same time. That way all ingredients absorb each of juice in bitter-sweet sauce and become delicious rich sauce together.

 

Usual Sukiyaki eats with dip in fresh raw egg but, since there are many Japanese who eat without dip in raw egg, it’s not necessary how you eat which I eat without raw egg.It’s your choice for enjoy.

 

You can choose Australian beef or Japanese beef.

Additional cost for Japanese beef /2000 yen per person.

 

People started to eat beef since the Emperor of Meiji ate beef first, then Suki-yaki was born at the last stage of Edo period around at 1865.
